1. Standard Warranty Coverage

All watches purchased from Watch Republic SA are covered by an official manufacturer’s warranty, ranging from 12 to 24 months, depending on the brand.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased from Watch Republic SA or authorised Watch Republic stockists.

2. What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies to the following:

  • Internal movement defects

  • Manufacturing faults in hands, dial, or markers

  • Battery replacement defects (if applicable to specific brands)

  • Faults linked to craftsmanship or material failure

Any repairs or assessments will be performed by authorised repair centres or brand-certified technicians.

3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from accidents, drops, or improper handling

  • Water damage if the watch’s water-resistance guidelines were not followed

  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, cracks, or general wear and tear

  • Strap, bracelet, clasp, crystal, crown, or battery replacement (unless specified by the manufacturer)

  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Loss or theft of the product

4. Warranty Conditions

For the warranty to remain valid:

  • The customer must provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

  • The watch must not have been opened, tampered with, or repaired by non-authorised technicians.

  • All warranty repairs must be completed through Watch Republic SA or an authorised brand service centre.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To log a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Watch Republic SA customer support with your order details.

  2. Provide photos or videos of the issue (if requested).

  3. Submit the watch for inspection at an authorised service centre or via courier.

  4. Technicians will assess whether the issue falls under warranty coverage.

If covered, repairs will be completed at no cost to the customer.
If not covered, a repair quotation will be provided for approval.

6. Assessment & Repair Timeframes

Warranty assessments may take 7–14 business days, depending on brand requirements.
Repair time may vary based on the complexity of the issue or availability of parts.

Customers will be kept updated throughout the process.

7. Replacement Policy

If the watch cannot be repaired due to a confirmed manufacturing defect, Watch Republic SA may, at its discretion:

  • Replace the watch with the same model, or

  • Offer an equivalent model of equal value if the original is unavailable.

8. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

Customers may request paid repairs for damages not covered by the warranty.
A formal quotation will be provided before any work is done.
